New Delhi: In a push to strengthen civic infrastructure in outer Delhi, Cabinet Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh on Saturday inaugurated new Delhi Jal Board (DJB) pipeline projects at Village Jat Khor and Kali Mata Mandir in Prakash Vihar under the Bawana Assembly constituency.

The projects aim to provide residents with cleaner, uninterrupted and improved water supply facilities, particularly in unauthorised colonies and rural areas that have long faced infrastructure challenges.

According to officials, the initiative is part of a broader development drive in the region, which includes water pipeline expansion, road repairs, construction of footpaths, drainage systems and other civic amenities.

Addressing residents during the inauguration programme, Ravinder Indraj Singh said the government was focused on ensuring that development directly benefits people at the grassroots level.

"Development is not measured merely by announcements, but by facilities reaching people's homes," the minister said. He added that the Delhi government's priority was to provide clean water, improved sewer systems and modern civic infrastructure to every citizen.

Highlighting the government's long-term vision, he said, "Roads, sewer systems and water pipelines, our goal is to rebuild every civic facility in a modern and efficient manner. We remain fully committed to public service and the continuous development of the region."

The minister stated that the projects align with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for integrated urban development and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's commitment to improving basic amenities across Delhi.
