New Delhi: The CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu, through its Technology Business Incubator (IIIM-TBI), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI).
The pact seeks to promote entrepreneurship, skill development and startup incubation by drawing on the institutional strengths of both organisations, while also creating a framework for capacity building and market linkages. Speaking at the signing, Dr Zabeer Ahmed, Director CSIR-IIIM Jammu and Chairman IIIM-TBI, said the collaboration "must go beyond paperwork and reflect visible impact" on the ground, and called for a structured action plan with a defined activity calendar and clear responsibilities.
He added that even a modest number of successful startups would mark meaningful progress, urging the identification of sector-specific opportunities and targeted training programmes.
