IIFCL reports record sanctions of Rs 57,680 crore in fiscal 2025-26

New Delhi: India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL) reported record annual sanctions of Rs 57,680 crore in FY 2025-26, marking a 13 per cent increase over the previous year, as the state-owned infrastructure financier expanded its lending activities and strengthened asset quality.

Managing Director Rohit Rishi said annual disbursements rose 16 per cent year-on-year to Rs 32,972 crore, while cumulative disbursements reached around Rs 1.89 lakh crore as of March 31, 2026. On a consolidated basis, total disbursements crossed Rs 2.14 lakh crore.

IIFCL's standalone loan book grew nearly 17 per cent to Rs 81,715 crore during the fiscal, supported by expansion across infrastructure sectors and a diversified lending portfolio.

The company's operating income nearly doubled over the past five years to Rs 6,972 crore in FY26 from Rs 3,618 crore in FY22, while operating profit rose to Rs 2,197 crore from Rs 1,168 crore. Profit before tax stood at Rs 1,984 crore and profit after tax at Rs 1,379 crore during fiscal 2025-26.

Net worth increased to Rs 17,898 crore from Rs 16,395 crore a year earlier, while the capital to risk-weighted assets ratio remained strong at 20.53 per cent.

IIFCL also reported a sharp improvement in asset quality, with gross NPAs declining to 0.40 per cent from 1.11 per cent last year, and net NPAs reducing to zero. Around 96 per cent of its assets were externally rated 'A' and above as of
