After delivering two back-to-back mega blockbusters with 'Dhurandhar' and 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', which emerged as the highest-grossing film of all time, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has started shooting for his new survival thriller, 'Pralay'.
The film went on floors in Mumbai. Jai Mehta, son of filmmaker Hansal Mehta, is the director of the film.
For those unaware, Jai, whose work on 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story', which he co-directed with Hansal Mehta and 'Lootere' has earned widespread acclaim. And joining Ranveer on this mega spectacle is 'Lokah' breakout actress Kalyani Priyadarshan.
Interestingly, Ananya Birla's production house is backing the film. Adding to the excitement, Ranveer not only headlines the film but also serves as a producer on 'Pralay'. The film also has Hansal Mehta and Sahil Saigal as producers.
Set against the unmistakable pulse and landscape of Mumbai, 'Pralay' is an original story that seeks to marry breathtaking spectacle with a deeply human emotional core. The film is being shot at live locations in and around Mumbai, as the makers embrace the physicality and unpredictability of real-world environments.
