Andhra Pradesh is set to get its first government international model school in Amaravati. The ZPHS Nidamarru campus in Mangalagiri is being transformed across five acres into a state-of-the-art educational hub.
The new school will meet international standards, featuring a swimming pool, lab block, indoor stadium, amphitheatre, and dining facilities. A 200-metre running track is also under construction and will be completed soon.

Residents across Andhra Pradesh have welcomed the move, saying similar schools should be established statewide after this pilot project succeeds.
This initiative is a flagship project of Higher Education Minister Nara Lokesh, who aims to modernize the state's education system. With an investment of ₹15 crore, the school is expected to become a benchmark for future government institutions in Andhra Pradesh.
