2 ISIS Sleeper Cell Terrorists Arrested

The terrorists who entered the country to carry out terror attacks were arrested by NIA (National Investigation Agency). The two flew into India from Jakarta.

They have been identified as Abdullah Faraz Sheikh and Talha Khan. They have been absconding for two years, shared NIA.

Both of them were involved in 2023 Pune bomb-making case. Already the NIA court has issued non-bailable warrant on Sheikh and Khan. There is a reward of Rs 3 lakh on their heads.

Abdullah Faraz Sheikh and Talha Khan were hiding in Indonesia for a while now. NIA arrested them when they tried to enter India. NIA has disclosed that quite a few people were acting as sleeper cells in India and passing on information to terrorist outfits.

Apart from Sheikh and Khan, 8 others who were acting as sleeper cells have been arrested by NIA. Criminal intent cases have been filed on them. They are working towards harming the integrity and social togetherness in the country through their terrorist acts, says NIA.

The idea is to create a Muslim state by primarily targeting the Maharashtra government, shares NIA. The two arrested terrorists were known for making bombs in a rented flat in Pune.

ISIS has trained sleeper cells to carry out terror acts in India by training them in various acts like bomb making. They also inform the sleeper cells about the places and how to carry out a terror act. That's how the terrorists carry out attacks without creating doubt, says NIA. We will stop all elements trying to carry out terror acts, says a determined NIA.
