A couple of months ago, Botsa Satyanarayana, as the Leader of the Opposition, announced that they would deliberate on the Capital issue in the party and spell out their policy on Amaravati/Three Capitals.
Some crucial developments have happened in Amaravati in these two months.
Tenders worth Rs 41,000 crore for various projects in Amaravati have already been awarded, and work has commenced. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come and inaugurated the works of Amaravati Restart.'

Jagan Mohan Reddy was also invited to the Event, but he did not go.
The Government is also contemplating doing a Phase 2 of Land Pooling in Amaravati.

Politically, Chandrababu Naidu is in the process of burying Jagan Mohan Reddy's Three Capital Idea.
The Capital is a crucial issue for any Political Party. It is necessary to have a common agenda on the Capital in a truncated state for Andhra Pradesh but unfortunately it is not the case with Andhra Pradesh.
Gudivada Amar, the other day, when asked about the issue, tried to dodge it again.
"We are not against Amaravati. Amaravati is one of our three capitals, and we did not stop the works there. As far as the three capitals are concerned, we already said we would discuss at the party and come up with a policy," he said.
That predominantly means the Opposition Party (not technically) has no policy on a crucial issue like the Capital.
Even though it is a bona fide bad decision, if there is anything remotely that has Jagan's mark on any Policy matter. It is the Three Capitals. Even that is not there now.
As everyone knows, a decision on the Capital is for the Generations to come. If a party has no stand or if it is in confusion over such a crucial issue, it can not claim itself as relevant to the Public and the state.
It looks like Jagan is clueless about how to handle this issue.
He is struggling to choose between the rejected three capitals idea or to okay an inevitable Amaravati.
He is leaving it to time to decide his policy. If Amaravati makes significant progress by the time of the next election, it will tilt towards Amaravati. If there is a chance, he will say Three Capitals.
Jagan Mohan Reddy of 2019 was at least decisive, even though he is on the wrong foot. Jagan of 2025 is confused and clueless.
