Bollywood actress 'Sonakshi Sinha' seems to have brought trouble for herself yet again, this time by sharing a video of her and her husband enjoying fireworks on New Year's Eve in Sydney, Australia.
Social media users jumped at the opportunity as soon as it arrived, reminding the actress of her previous patronizing statements regarding firecrackers on the occasion of Diwali last year.

The actress had made a post on Diwali, showing the polluted sky and blaming it on the public for bursting firecrackers.
Questioning their intelligence, she had said, "I want to ask all those people bursting crackers right now… are you stupid or what?"

So it is only natural that the public got back at her, reminding her of the hypocrisy of enjoying firecrackers on one occasion while criticizing them on another.
One user on social media said, "Preaching about pollution in India but enjoying fireworks abroad? Celebs really do live in their own bubble."

Another criticized her by commenting, "The noise pollution from fireworks doesn't discriminate, whether it's Sydney or Mumbai. Hypocrisy much?"
However, some also came forward in the actress' defence, justifying her two-headed action.
One user tried his best to justify, writing, "Sonakshi is celebrating responsibly in a place with significantly lower AQI. It's unfair to compare."
This incident is not common to Sonakshi as many celebs often offer unasked advice to the masses, while celebrating the same practices in a different culture going abroad.
At the same time, the online troll gang must not target anyone based on their personal views. Every person, celeb or not, has the right to choose what to post on their account.
Harassing someone just because they married a person of another religion, or because they have conflicting views from you undermines the very essence of democracy, which gives us the absolute right to express ourselves any way we want.
