Allu Arjun tested huge commercial success with the second part of Pushpa, which is likely to end up as a ₹1500 crore grosser at the global box office.
The discussion now is about Allu Arjun's next film after Pushpa 2. This film is set to be directed by Trivikram, who is incidentally making his pan Indian cinema debut with the same.
Mufasa Early Reviews: Brakes on Pushpa 2?
Usually, when a superstar delivers a mega blockbuster, he is likely to work with a more capable and established film maker.
No offence to Trivikram, but he has been operating entirely in the domestic Telugu market, all his career. There is no doubting his writing skills, but the issue is that he did not cater to the wider audience, thus far.
Pushpa 2 Stampede: Cases On Allu Arjun Fans
All of a sudden Trivikram is now left with the responsibility of directing Allu Arjun right after he delivered a ₹1500 crore film. The issue is that Trivikram doesn't have prior experience of catering to the larger audience.
That being said, Trivikram has been around long enough to gauge the sensibilities of the audience. He will know of the right meter to entertain the masses.

But it could perhaps be argued that Sandeep Reddy Vanga is the best possible option to have directed Allu Arjun immediate next film after Pushpa 2.
Vanga is already a big deal in the pan Indian circuit. His Animal was a rage. He is also known for extracting the very best from his actors, making him the ideal fit for Bunny at this point in time.
After the mass high of Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun could've made it big with the combination value of Vanga. But now with Trivikram, he will have to start from scratch again in terms of director value in the pan Indian belt.
