Aditya Dhar's spy thriller Dhurandhar has turned into a blockbuster within just one week of release. The film, which opened on December 5, crossed the Rs 200 crore net mark in seven days.
Actor Allu Arjun watched the film recently and shared a highly positive review on social media. He called Dhurandhar "a brilliantly made film" and praised its performances, technical quality, and music.
He appreciated Ranveer Singh's "magnetic presence" and versatility, along with Akshaye Khanna's charisma. He also praised Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and young actress Sara Arjun for their strong contributions. Allu Arjun extended his congratulations to the entire technical team, Jio Studios, producer Jyoti Deshpande, and especially director Aditya Dhar, calling him a "brilliant filmmaker" who made the film with full confidence and style.
Allu Arjun encouraged everyone to watch the film, saying, "I loved it! Just watch it and enjoy the show."
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan faced backlash for earlier saying that he did not agree with the politics of Dhurandhar, even though he praised its filmmaking. After brutal trolling, Hrithik deleted his first review and reposted a revised version without mentioning politics. Many people felt this showed the pressure surrounding films with strong political themes.
In contrast, Allu Arjun avoided commenting on the film's political angle and limited himself to praising its artistic aspects. Given the current climate, his careful and non-crontroversial approach has been widely appreciated and has received unanimous positive reactions online.
