Cricketer Ambati Rayudu has sparked rumours with his comments on BJP. It is known that he was with YSRCP in the past.
Recently, Rayudu was a guest at Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) mahasabhalu.

He hailed BJP as the only party that was working for the country. This immediately raised many eyebrows in political circles.
It has to be remembered that Rayudu was a member of YSRCP till 2019 and made headlines by resigning from the party just before elections. He was in the party for barely a fortnight.

Back then, he said he was going back to professional cricket to participate in International T20 series in Dubai. He said it required practice and dedication.
But two days after quitting YSRCP, Rayudu met Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan. It is said he had an aspiration to get MP seat. Post meeting, Rayudu tweeted saying his ideology was similar to that of Pawan Kalyan. But nothing came of it.

Though he maintained he will stay away from politics for some time, he seems to be moving his pawns once again. With his latest display of affinity towards the BJP, it has once given rise to rumours about him joining the BJP.
