Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu shared Q2 growth data for 2025-26 and said the state recorded an 11.28 percent rise in GSDP. He said the numbers show steady recovery and reflected confidence in economic planning across sectors.

He added that industry led the charge with a growth rate of 12.20 percent. He said clear policies, tighter fiscal control and consistent follow-through pushed the gains. According to him, the figures prove the government's focus on development is producing results on the ground.

State growth also beat the national average of 8.7 percent. Agriculture grew by 10.70 percent while services expanded by 11.30 percent. He said these figures showed balanced growth and not dependence on any single sector to carry the economy forward.

Despite this momentum, Chandrababu Naidu said the target stands at 15 percent growth. He stressed that faster progress remains the goal and said governance reforms and investment inflows will continue to drive expansion across districts and industries.

He also blamed the previous government under Jagan for lost momentum. He said the state suffered a setback of Rs 76,195 crore during that period. He added that the focus now is on restoring growth and improving the lifestyle of Telugu people.
