A complaint was lodged by lawyer Mamidal Tirumal Rao in the Nampally Criminal Court.

The complaint alleges that the teaser of Jai Hanuman, released on October 30, 2024, depicted Hanuman in an offensive manner.

Instead of showing an image of Lord Hanuman's face, the teaser featured actor Rishab Shetty's face, which the lawyer believes could harm the image of Lord Hanuman.

The lawyer expressed concerns that future generations might not recognize the true image of Hanuman, and that this portrayal could hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus.

He has filed a complaint against the film's director Prashanth Varma, Mythri Movie Makers producers Naveen Yerneni and Yelamanchili Ravi Shankar, as well as actor Rishab Shetty.
