A Tiranga yatra is being held in Vijayawada on Friday with 5000 people. The rally will be held from Indira Gandhi municipal stadium to Benz Circle at 5 pm.
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu is the chief guest for the yatra.
Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, various Minister, MLAs, BJP leaders, Purandareswari, other leaders and officers will be part of the yatra. Every person will be given a flag during the yatra.
Children will sing songs highlighting the unity and integrity of the nation. Tiranga yatra is being held across 11 days to honour the courage and sacrifice of the Armed Forces.

The yatra started on May 13. The first Tiranga yatra was held in Bengaluru which saw huge crowds coming on to the roads to participate in the yatra. Yatras have also been held in Leh, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna and Tamil Nadu. In Srinagar, it was organized at the famous Lal Chowk.
