Andhra Pradesh's Sri City secured Rs 31450 crore in investments at the Partnership Summit in Vizag. The new investments strengthened the state's industrial growth and created 1.1 lakh jobs.
The event marked a strong step forward for large-scale development.
Five manufacturing units were inaugurated, and 12 companies exchanged MoUs. The state also handed major GOs to DaikinIndia, India Proterial (Metglas), and Sri City for its second-phase expansion. These moves added fresh momentum to the region's industrial plans.
AP CM Chandrababu praised Sri City as a benchmark for industrial excellence and approved 2500 more acres for future growth. He set clear goals to expand Sri City's global presence to 50 cities, 500 industries, and 1.5 lakh jobs with sustainable systems.
The state's strong policy support continues to help Sri City grow rapidly. Its progress strengthens Andhra Pradesh's position as a global marketing powerhouse. The region now acts as a core hub for investment and advanced manufacturing.
Chandrababu described Sri City as India's finest industrial township. He said anyone who wants to see a successful industrial city must look at Sri City. He highlighted how the entire ecosystem evolved in less than two decades.
