When Jagan was in power, Avinash oversaw the party responsibilities in the entire Kadapa district.

It is said that he is always unreachable to the party cadre and leaders. As a result, the YSR Congress got a negative result in the recent elections.

In the recent Assembly elections, the YSR Congress is left with only three seats out of the total ten seats. Even Jagan's majority was reduced in the 2024 election.

One of the three seats is Jagan's seat, and another seat is due to the BJP fielding a weak candidate.

If not for Sharmila contesting for Kadapa Parliament, TDP would have defeated Avinash as well in Kadapa Parliament.

Jagan deserted his sister and mother to protect Avinash in Vivekananda Reddy's Murder case.

But TDP will have the support of the entire Government machinery in this election.
