The crime reportedly took place in Kurudasonnenahalli, under the Avalahalli Police Station limits, and involved Shruti, an employee of the Mahadevapura BBMP zone.
According to sources, Shruti, along with a gang led by the notorious local thug Langu Machchu Donna, forcibly entered the home of a man named Prabhu late at night. The intruders allegedly launched a brutal attack over an ongoing property dispute, leaving Prabhu severely injured and traumatized.

This shocking intrusion into a citizen's home is not only criminal, but it also signals a disturbing trend of emboldened hooliganism backed by individuals with political or bureaucratic links.
That a BBMP staffer could be directly involved in such an act underlines the alarming erosion of institutional integrity and the shamelessness of criminals who now seem to act without fear of consequences. Public anger is growing, with many demanding to know why local law enforcement failed to prevent or swiftly respond to such an incident.
The absence of night patrolling, unchecked growth of local goons, and a general climate of impunity have all contributed to the worsening law and order situation in the city.
Immediate and strict action must be taken against all those involved regardless of their position or influence. Bengaluru's citizens deserve protection, justice, and accountability.
