The year 2024 is now over for Tollywood, and this year saw only four Tier 1 Star Heroes releasing films in theaters.

The first was Mahesh Babu's Guntur Karam in January.

In June, Prabhas starred in Kalki 2898 AD, followed by NTR's Devara in September. Finally, in December, Allu Arjun delivered Pushpa 2. These four Tier 1 heroes made their presence felt this year.

However, if we look at who delivered the standout performance, there is no doubt that Allu Arjun stands miles ahead of the other three. His portrayal of the Pushpa character was nothing short of extraordinary, dominating the screen and leaving a lasting impact.

In contrast, Mahesh Babu's performance in Guntur Karam was largely forgettable. Despite his best efforts, including his signature energy and dance efforts, his performance felt routine and unexciting. The blame lies more with the script than his ability.

2024: A Bad Year for Vijay Deverakonda

Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD turned out to be a blockbuster in theaters, but his performance was not what fans remembered him for. In fact, Prabhas received significant backlash and trolling. The criticism only grew after the film's release on OTT.

Similarly, NTR delivered a decent performance in Devara, but it didn't come close to matching Allu Arjun's stellar act. NTR's performance, though decent, doesn't even come close to his own best.

Dil Raju's Comment: Casual or Wanted on Allu Arjun?

By far and away, Allu Arjun's performance in Pushpa 2 dominated 2024. There is no comparison. His act was a clear standout, making him the winner in the performance category for this year.
