The TTD board, led by chairman BR Naidu, made several key decisions during its meeting today. One major decision was to ban talking politics with the media in Tirumala.
Of late, some political leaders from both Telugu states have been discussing political issues while addressing the media in Tirumala. From now on, legal action will be taken against anyone engaging in such activities.
Govt Clarification: No Volunteers In AP
The TTD has also decided to cancel the Srivani Trust and transfer the Rs.10000 ticket amount directly to TTD's main account. Plans are being made to implement changes to ensure that Sarva Darshanam devotees can complete their darshan within 2-3 hours by reducing waiting times for devotees standing in queue complexes.
Also, the board decided to transfer employees of other religions working in TTD to either government departments or VRS departments. An official notice has been issued regarding this decision.
One More Item In Tirumala Annaprasadam
The board has also decided to clear waste from the Tirumala Dumping Yard within three months. The Srinivasa Sethu has been renamed Garuda Varadhi.
TTD will move its bank deposits from private banks to government banks. One more food item will be added to the daily Annadanam menu. Importantly, laddus will now be made using the finest ghee.

The Brahmotsavam bonus for TTD employees has been increased from Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 15,400. BR Naidu also decided to take back land leased to Visakhapatnam's Sharada Peetham during the YCP regime. The building on this land will be taken back and demolished soon.
It was also decided that guesthouses should not be named after individuals. Lastly, the board decided to provide darshan for Tirupati locals on the first Tuesday of every month.
