Telangana PCC chief whip Mahesh Kumar Goud has made interesting comments about the issue of cabinet expansion in Telangana.
He said the party will give out names of Graduate MLC candidates, within two-three days.

But the big news was about cabinet expansion and Goud announced that it will take place post Sankranthi.
Four names were in consideration for graduate MLC elections, said the chief whip. The names included Alpores Narender Reddy, Prasanna Harikrishna and ex-official Gangadhar among others.

He said all committees will be in place soon and added that the Corporation vacancies will be filled within this month.
The chief whip further shared that the Congress high command had issued strict instructions with regards to party activities and instructed them to tune them to remain in power for next 20 years.

In December 2024, there was speculation about cabinet expansion. At the time some leaders flew to New Delhi to lobby with high command.
However, the expansion was postponed. There is new energy among leaders following the latest update.
