According to his Film Information website, Akshay Kumar's Sky Force started slow on Friday, making only Rs. 5.50 crore. However, it picked up on Saturday with Rs. 10.50 crore, and Sunday saw a significant jump to Rs. 14 crores due to the patriotic theme aligning with Republic Day celebrations.

After the strong weekend, collections crashed starting Monday. The weekday totals were much lower, with Rs. 3.25 crore on Monday, Rs. 3 crores on Tuesday, Rs. 2.25 crore on Wednesday, and Rs. 2 crores on Thursday. This brought the total for the first week to Rs. 40.50 crore.

However, the makers claim a collection of Rs. 80 crores. This inflated number was largely due to massive corportate bookings and block bookings of unsold tickets, creating a misleading impression of strong box office performance.
