The hit comedy duo is making a comeback with Bhooth Bangla.

After 14 long years, Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan have teamed up again for another project- a horror comedy like their old project Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Bhooth Bangla has taken the duo back to the palace where Bhool Bhulaiyaa was shot 18 years ago.

The team will be shooting in Jaipur for almost a month, and more than 60% of the film is said to be shot in the palace. The film combines horror with humour, and the madness unfolds in the house. There are supernatural elements related to the 'Bangla', and Akshay's character will come to the centre of the madness.

Other than Jaipur, some parts will be shot in Mumbai and London as well. Viewers can expect a lot of VFX and horror comedy set against the backdrop of Indian mythology.

The film is going to be released in April of next year, but fans are sceptical about seeing Akshay back in a comedic role.

During his young days, Akshay's comedic timing mixed with Priyadarshan's writing became an epic hit.

But as the actor has aged, his comedic timing hasn't been the same. Not only that, the director is also said to have lost his old charm of comedic writing.

Can the OG comedic duo still deliver with the same intensity?

Fans aren't sure. But either way, the film's premise seems exciting and could be an interesting watch.

Along with Akshay Kumar, the film will feature Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Asrani, and Rajpal Yadav among others.
