Dhruva Sarja's Martin created a lot of hype when the first glimpse was revealed last year. However, the overall response to the film after its release has been very negative and it has eventually turned out to be a box office bomb.

Martin has once again proved that stardom does not help to bring good box office numbers. It is important to work on the content when the film has been announced a long time ago and has already created a lot of hype.

Apart from this, directors need to avoid taking the same path as Prashanth Neel did for K.G.F. Chapter 2.

Even if the makers avoid the same, there have been a few films in the last two years where the settings looked almost similar to K.G.F., except that certain changes were made to the premise.

Producers need to understand that audiences become a little bit ruthless when they spot a negative point in a film. The failure of Martin is a lesson for all the makers and from now onwards, they must ensure to create stories and characters that can easily make a connection with the viewers.
