The collaboration of Chandrababu and Bill Gates dates back to 1997 when CM Chandrababu convinced Bill Gates To set up its first development center outside Seattle.
Bill Gates was impressed by Chandrababu making a presentation on a laptop and a 10-minute appointment stretched to a 45-minute session.
Today, decades later, after multiple meetings on foreign shores and recently at Davos, Bill Gates is in Amaravati on Monday. After reaching the Gannavaram Airport, Gates headed to the state Secretariat.
There he was greeted by CM Chandrababu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and other Ministers.
The government hopes the latest meeting of Bill Gates and Chandrababu will pave way for new developments in improving service delivery and outcomes in rural and urban areas.
Bill Gates arrived ahead of the AI India Impact Summit to be held from February 16-20 in the national capital. Apart from Bill Gates, the Summit will see coming together of various heads of states, technology leaders, policymakers and researchers. They will be discussing the future of AI and its societal impact.
