Notably, this is Jaideep's second show on the streaming platform after Paatal Lok. Apart from this, he would collaborate with Manoj Bajpayee for another time after Gangs of Wasseypur.

While Raj & DK have not confirmed anything about Season 3's plot, Manoj said in an interview that it would be set in the backdrop of the North-East. Manoj also stated that the show will get bigger with different circumstances and situations.
