Samantha Ruth Prabhu, one of the most recognized actors down South, has suffered a severe blow on the personal level with the passing of her father Joseph Prabhu.

As per reports, Joseph Prabhu passed away some 30 minutes ago due to a medical condition and he is no longer with us.

Samantha shared a heartbreaking message on social media as she wrote "Until we meet again dad" in her Instagram story, followed by a heartbreak symbol. She must be gutted by this incident as she reportedly shared a very close bond with her dear father.

Joseph Prabhu was reportedly instrumental in Samantha's journey when she was battling depression due to the divorce and the subsequent myositis medical condition.
