CM Revanth Reddy slammed the former BRS government for the irregularities in the implementation of the Rythu Bandhu scheme during its tenure.

He argued that the BRS accumulated so much wealth in the last 10 years that it could lend money to the Swiss bank as well.

Revanth said that BRS has the capability of paying the state's debt of Rs. 7 lakh crores because all the state's wealth has been transferred to KCR's family during the 10 years of BRS rule.

He further stated that the BRS government was so negligent in the distribution of the Rythu Bandhu scheme that it gave the scheme's money to industrialists, businessmen, and CEOs as well.

Speaking in the assembly, Revanth Reddy said, "Our government will stand for the farmers. The previous government was negligent towards them. Rythu Bandhu was introduced to help farmers with investment. However, the scheme amount has been given to non-agricultural lands, businessmen, CEOs, and industrialists."

"You have given Rythu Bandhu to industrialists and real-estate businessmen. Shall we give it to hills and rocks as well?" Revanth sarcastically questioned the BRS.
