The director Buchi Babu has continued shooting the remaining portions aggressively. He is ensuring that every pending scene progresses without delay.
The team is now preparing to shoot several important sequences in Hyderabad. This includes key scenes at the iconic Koti Women's College. From the 18th of this month, the crew expects to begin filming the crucial Delhi schedule. This schedule includes the emotional climax. One massive wrestling fight sequence remains. Insiders say all talkie portions will be wrapped by mid-January, bringing the film very close to completion.
At this point, the real pressure reportedly lies on composer A R Rahman. The film still needs its most important track, the special item song, which Rahman has not yet delivered. Buchi Babu is known for his perfectionism. The same approach helped him carve out the chartbuster Chikiri Chikiri. For this final track, he wants Rahman to deliver a song that surpasses Jigelu Rani, the chartbuster number from Rangasthalam.
Rahman shared one or two tune ideas earlier. Buchi Babu was not fully satisfied. Rahman then promised to compose a fresh track. This has extended the timeline. If he delivers the final tune by the end of this month, the team can lock the film by February. They can then comfortably meet the March 27 release.
Despite this, speculation continues. This is mainly because Pawan Kalyan's Ustaad Bhagat Singh suddenly activated promotions. Some fans wondered whether Peddi might shift to avoid a clash. The ground reality is different. Peddi has already finalized its business deals, OTT agreements, and nationwide marketing plans around the March 27 date. Shifting it now would cause unnecessary financial and logistical complications which would be a massive setback for the makers financially.
Buchi Babu remains determined to release Peddi as Ram Charans birthday gift. He intends to deliver a major blockbuster. With full backing from the producers, and with Charan fully aligned with the schedule, there are no internal hurdles. If Rahman delivers the pending song and BGM on time, Peddi will arrive on March 27 exactly as planned.
