According to details, the victim, Praneeth, hailed from the Meerpet area of Hyderabad and was pursuing his Master's degree in Canada. He had gone to visit his elder brother yesterday to attend the latter's birthday party.

As part of the celebration, a group of friends visited a nearby lake in Toronto. Praneeth, who went swimming in the lake, unfortunately drowned and lost his life.
