A case has been registered against BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha at the Borabanda police station. The complaint was submitted by Congress media and communication chairman Mohan Reddy to the Returning Officer.

Reddy alleged that Sunitha distributed voter slips with the BRS party symbol, which he claimed violates Election Commission rules and the Model Code of Conduct. Following the complaint, Borabanda police filed a case against Maganti Sunitha.

Recently, there were also complaints against Sunitha and her daughter Akshara for allegedly trying to influence voters going for namaz in the constituency. In this case, Sunitha has been listed as A1 and Maganti Akshara as A2.

The Election Commission Model Code of Conduct bans distributing material showing party symbols or names near polling areas to seek votes. Violating these norms can lead to legal action.

Maganti Sunitha is said to be working to continue the legacy of her late husband Maganti Sunitha, who previously represented Jubilee Hills under the BRS banner.
