YSR Congress Party MLC Duvvada Srinivas has been making headlines over the last few months for all the wrong reasons. Recently, he has been trending on social media due to his relationship with Divvela Madhuri and his disputes with his wife and children.

Now, he is back in the news as a case has been filed against him at the Tekkali Police Station. Getting into details, Tekkali constituency's Janasena leader Kanithi Kiran Kumar filed a complaint against Duvvada Srinivas for the derogatory comments he made against Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan in the past.

The police have registered the complaint and filed a case. Meanwhile, Duvvada is yet to respond to the case filed against him.

Multiple cases have been filed against YCP leaders and supporters over the last few weeks for the offensive and derogatory comments they made against rival party leaders in the past. Even people who used social media as a platform to attack rival party leaders are being charged and kept under police custody.

YCP leaders and supporters have made derogatory comments, offensive remarks, and used abusive language against TDP and Janasena leaders both during their time in power and after losing it. As these actions cross limits, they are now being held accountable under the law.
