CBI's Response In Viveka's Case, BJP's Strategy?

The Supreme Court heard the case again today. However, the CBI failed to file the required affidavit and requested more time.

In the previous hearing, the Supreme Court questioned the CBI about the investigation's progress.

The agency gave a strange response.

The CBI claimed that the investigation is complete but said it would continue if the court asks for further probe.

This appears to be the first time an investigation is termed "complete" without identifying the murderer or establishing a motive.

Key questions remain unanswered, including the alleged involvement of Avinash Reddy and Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The court had asked the CBI to submit these details in an affidavit and had set today as the deadline.

However, the CBI has missed the date once again and asked for more time.

Interestingly, the Vice-President elections are being held today, and the Narendra Modi-led Central Government is reportedly relying on support from YSR Congress MPs.

Many speculate that the affidavit may have been delayed to avoid political complications during polling.

The voting ends today. All eyes are now on what the CBI will do on the 16th.

Meanwhile, Vivekananda Reddy's daughter, Suneetha Reddy, continues her solitary legal fight to get justice for her father.

Even after the change in government, there has been no visible progress in the case.

It remains a mystery why Chandrababu Naidu, despite having significant influence in Delhi, has not been able to push the Centre to act on this issue.
