AP CM Chandrababu Naidu approved construction works worth Rs. 2,723 crores in the capital city Amaravati. He approved the budget in the CRDA meeting held at the Secretariat earlier today.
Recently, Amaravati received approval for a loan of Rs. 15,000 crores from both the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. Now, these additional Rs. 2,723 crores will help in the construction of various projects in the capital city.

CM Naidu ordered the officials to complete the construction of 1.18 lakh TIDCO houses and launch them by June 12, 2025. The meeting also decided to provide basic amenities in LPS Zone 7 and Zone 10.
Naidu also discussed the progress of the capital city's Outer Ring Road and Vijayawada's bypass with the CRDA officials. So far, the CRDA has approved works worth Rs. 47,288 crores in Amaravati.

The state government aims to make Amaravati a truly global city by constructing it with world-class amenities and facilities. CM Naidu has set deadlines for the construction of all major establishments in the city, and the CRDA officials are also working towards the same goal.
