The government of Andhra Pradesh has been actively working on delivering the promises made during the election campaign. In the process, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has launched the free gas cylinder scheme today.

As a part of the Deepam 2.0 scheme, Chandrababu Naidu launched the free gas cylinder initiative at Edurapuram village of Ichapuram mandal of the Srikakulam district. He delivered the first free gas cylinder of the scheme to the beneficiary named Shantamma.

Naidu personally visited the beneficiary's home to deliver the gas cylinder. He then connected the gas stove himself and prepared tea. Following this, he spent time with Shantamma's family, who were thrilled to see the Chief Minister making tea for them, just like one of their own.

After that, Chandrababu Naidu went to another beneficiary's house and handed over the single-woman pension. He also promised to construct a house for her. He then ordered the district collector to commence the necessary works immediately.

Union Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, state cabinet ministers Nadendla Manohar, Kinjarapu Atchanaidu and Kondapalli Srinivas accompanied Naidu during these visits.
