After coming into power in Andhra Pradesh, the government of Andhra Pradesh has been implementing the promises made during elections one after the other.

According to the latest reports, this scheme will be implemented from Ugadi next year. Today, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the progress of the work to implement this scheme.
Naidu held a meeting with Minister of Transport Ram Prasad Reddy, DGP Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, APSRTC Managing Director, and a few other higher officials.

They informed Naidu that they are studying the working of this scheme in states like Karnataka, Delhi, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu, where it is already implemented.

The committee will be headed by the Minister of Transport, Ram Prasad Reddy and will include the Home Minister Anitha and the Minister of Women and Child Welfare & Tribal Welfare, Sandhya Rani, as members.
It is heard that Naidu ordered the officials to submit a report on their study soon and is planning to implement the scheme by Ugadi.
