HRD Minister Nara Lokesh continues to actively invite market leaders to invest in the top cities of Andhra Pradesh. Recently, he took to X to reach out to Rajesh Yabaji, co-founder of the logistics tech platform Blackbuck, suggesting Vizag as a potential base.
Rajesh Yabaji shared on X that Blackbuck was planning to move out of ORR Bellandur after nine years. He used a heartbreak emoji while explaining the reasons behind the decision.
The main issue was the long commute time. Employees were spending nearly 1.5 hours one way due to poor road conditions. He mentioned the roads were full of potholes and dust, with hardly any effort to fix them.
Rajesh added that he didn't expect the situation to improve in the next five years. Responding quickly, Nara Lokesh replied, "Hi Rajesh, can I interest you in relocating your company to Vizag? We are rated among the top 5 cleanest cities in India. We're building world-class infrastructure and have been rated the safest city for women. Please send me a DM."
Nara Lokesh is known for his focus on the 'speed of doing business' and his ability to seize timely opportunities. His quick response shows his commitment to attracting tech investments to Andhra Pradesh.
