Recent ad campaigns from OYO have taken up a similar trend. A billboard was recently spotted with bold letters proclaiming, "Malaika was found in an OYO."

Now, if you don't already know, OYO has a reputation in the Indian dating scene for providing couple hideouts.
Thus, the advertisement makes a very suggestive claim about Malaika Arora Khan. She is obviously one of the celebrities who make headlines whenever paparazzi spot her, so it's very clear what the ad was implying. Meanwhile her dating life is also the talk of the town.

However, in the second line (Although much fainter), it clears up what Malaika was doing in the OYO: "taking a breather from the paps." Similar billboards have been popping up everywhere, featuring various celebrities.
Another billboard proclaimed that Ranveer and Deepika were spotted in an OYO trying to turn the curtains into a lehenga. Or Abhishek being spotted in an OYO. It is quite hilarious how OYO has used these negative marketing tactics to their advantage.
The internet is going feral over these billboards. Everyone is sharing and resharing them. However, the subtle sarcasm indeed made everyone gasp at first. OYO truly had us in the first half with its brilliant marketing. Meanwhile many consider it cheap publicity.
