It is interesting to note that Chevireddy has been talking of walking into SIT office and getting arrested. Though no accusation has been made on Chevireddy till now, he has been insisting, he is not scared of being arrested.

Just a week back, Chevireddy spoke about his close aides being arrested and tortured by SIT officials. He alleged that SIT officials were forcing his aides to give his name, though he was not involved in the Rs 3200 crore liquor scam.
Chevireddy further alleged that the whole act was being carried out following the script of ex officer Ghattamaneni Srinivas. Chevireddy also shared that he was planning to file habeas corpus in the court.
