Now, Rajamahendravaram SC, ST Court has allowed for the next hearing of the case. It also asked that a supplementary chargesheet be filed within 90 days.
In the past, Subramaniam's family had complained to the alliance government that others were involved in the case and that action needs to be taken.

Accordingly, the alliance government constituted a SIT and appointed senior lawyer Muppalla Subbarao to help with the case.
Subramaniam was murdered on May 19, 2022. Footage from CCTVs, Google Take Out, call data, tower location have to be analyzed to find out the number of people involved.
