While we have this on one side, the discussion is about the actual box office prospect of this film.
The hard fact here is that the NTR and Hrithik Roshan film is going to directly clash with Lokesh Kanagaraj and Rajinikanth film - Coolie.
By the looks of it, War 2 is going to be a Hindi flavoured spy actioner with very little domestic Telugu touch. Barring the presence of NTR, there might not be too much to get excited for the Telugu audience.
Biggest Problem of WAR 2: Can Shah Rukh Khan Save?
The special thing here could only be to witness Tarak in such a stylized action universe which we haven't necessarily seen from him in the recent past.
But on the other hand, Coolie has many things going its way. It has many familiar faces, including Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna. And on top of that there is adequate commercial appeal with the massy BGMs and commercial visuals.
Boyapati's First Time Ever with NBK: Double Twist
In terms of commercial appeal, if we compare head to head Lokesh will far supersede Ayan Mukerjee. So if we have to take a blind shot, the favourite here will be Lokesh, at least in the domestic South markets.
War 2 will have to run entirely on NTR's fame in the Telugu states and there are very few other contributing factors. But in the case of Coolie, there are several hook points that could work very well for it.
