NTV had aired a program which stirred a sensation in Telangana Politics.
The Program is a Gossip saying that some women IAS officers are getting the postings of their liking by doing sexual favours for the Ministers.
The Program appeared like targeting a Minister in the Cabinet from Nalgonda.
The IAS Officers Association immediately condemned the Program and called it an attempt to hit the morale of the IAS Officers. Immediately after that the Government registered cases and also formed a SIT to investigate into the matter.
Accordingly, the Police lifted three Journalists of the Channel including its Telangana Input Editor late on Tuesday (January 13, 2026) night.
One journalist was let off after questioning.
After a day of high drama, Police presented the remaining two before 14th Magistrate on early hours of Wednesday.
After elaborate arguments, the Magistrate rejected the Remand of the two Journalists.
All the three were granted bail and were asked to furnish personal surety bond of 20,000 Rupees each.
