The judge at the Guntur Special Court quashed the criminal case registered earlier against Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
One More Case Filed Against RGV!
On July 29, 2023, the Guntur Public Prosecutor filed a direct complaint to the court, alleging that the volunteers had turned into anti-social forces.
As per the orders of the court, a case has been registered against Pawan Kalyan under sections 499 and 500 of the IPC. Pawan approached the High Court to strike out the case against him. The special court that took up the investigation then and questioned the volunteers once again.

The judge issued an order dismissing the case after the volunteers said that they did not file a complaint in the latest investigation and their signatures were forged.
During his Varahi Yatra in Eluru on July 9, 2023, Pawan Kalyan made some accusations against the volunteers. He alleged that the volunteers had turned into anti-social forces. He alleged that some of them like Dandupalyam Batch are going when there are no men in the houses and there is no proper accountability on that system.
CBN Gave But Did Not Give A Chance To YCP
The Government, back then directed the public prosecutor to register a criminal case against Pawan based on his comments on the volunteers and the complaints received by the government. The public prosecutor of Guntur district filed a complaint in the Guntur court as the government directed. To that extent, a case was registered against Pawan Kalyan under sections 499 and 500 of the IPC.
The Volunteers whose names were in the complaint informed the court that their signatures were forged. As a result, Judge Sarath Babu announced that the case against Pawan was being dropped.
