Dhanush is one of the busiest actors and directors in Kollywood. His last released movie, Raayan, which was acted and directed by himself, was a tremendous success and became the highest-grossing movie for Dhanush in his entire acting career.

Parallely, he almost completed shooting for a Pan-Indian movie, Kubera, directed by National Award-winning director Sekhar Kammula. Star actors such as Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandhana were part of this movie. As per speculations, this movie is going to be released by the end of this year.

After Raayan, Dhanush also directed another movie, Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, starring young actors such as Priya Prakash Varrier, Anikha Surendran, and Mathew Thomas. The shooting of this movie was completed, and the movie is all set for a theatrical release in a few months.

Apart from this, he also started his 4th directorial venture, tentatively titled Idly Kadai. The shooting of this movie is now happening in Theni. He is acting as a lead in this movie, with a bunch of star-studded actors.

Apart from these movies, his line-up looks interesting as he also has a Hindi movie Tere Ishk Mein with Dhanush's favorite Anand L Rai; also, the Ilayaraja Biopic is going to start, which was announced a few months ago; Mari Selvaraj Project; and Arun Matheshwaran Project, apart from Ilayaraja Biopic.

Looks Like Dhanush is working continuously without any breaks, while some of the top actors in his criteria were doing only one film a year whereas with strong Line-ups Dhanush may even release more than two films a year. More than this he also acts in different languages and also he baggs critically acclaimed directors' projects and he is very brave to act in experimental projects which top actors fail to do.
