As anticipated, Dil Raju has lined up two films for the Sankranthi season, sparking a new question: how much of a gap will there be between these two releases?

This is only the second time a production house has two releases scheduled for Sankranthi. The last time it happened was in 2023 when Mythri Movie Makers released their Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. However, both films ended up as successful films.

It is well-known that the Telugu film industry is facing significant challenges with theater availability in the Telugu states, especially during a crowded season like Sankranthi.

This year, Dil Raju's company is set to release the much-delayed Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, along with another film featuring Venkatesh and directed by Anil Ravipudi, titled Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam.

While the release date for the second film has yet to be announced, the uncertainty surrounding the gap between the two releases is evident.

Earlier, Dil Raju had hinted at a December release for Game Changer but recently announced that the film would now be released on January 10. This adjustment suggests that Ram Charan's film will take the lead in the Sankranthi box office race.

Venkatesh's film is expected to follow a few days later. It appears that the team aims to release it towards the end of the Pongal season if all goes well.

However, this schedule heavily depends on other films set to release during the same period.

It has been confirmed that Balakrishna's film, directed by Bobby, is also in the race for the Sankranthi season.

Additionally, Mythri Movie Makers is bringing Ajith's Good Bad Ugly into the Pongal competition.

There are also chances that Naga Chaitanya's film, directed by Chandoo Mondeti and titled Thandel, will hit theaters around the same time.

These films will ultimately influence the final screen sharing and date for Venkatesh's film.

As the competition heats up, audiences can look forward to a thrilling January filled with exciting new releases.
