Pushpa 2 is gearing up for its theatrical release in three days from now as it is scheduled to hit the big screens on the 5th of December.

Going by the box office trends, the film's Hindi bookings are as strong as the Telugu bookings, indicating a huge upswing in the Hindi belt.

Coming to the topic now, Pushpa 2 is anyway projected to have a super long run in the Hindi belt, considering the mass penetration of the first part. In that case, a Bollywood star's film might fall prey to this Pushpa mania.

The hero in question is Varun Dhawan and the mentioned film is Baby John which is up for release on the 25th of this month on the occasion of Christmas.

This film is a remake of Theri and it has the story by Atlee who directed the original and recently delivered blockbuster Jawan. However, regardless of the commercial appeal, this Baby John is set to be washed away by Pushpa mania, according to a comment from a Bollywood media man.

As things stand, Pushpa 2 is projected to open with Rs 65+ crore net in Hindi and continue the run from there. The good thing for Baby John is that it is three weeks away from Pushpa 2. This gives it enough leeway. But if Pushpa continues to dominate at the box office in the long run, it would certainly eat into the prospects of the Varun starrer.
