Former minister and BRS leader Harish Rao lost his father, Tanneru Satyanarayana Rao, in the early hours of Tuesday. Condolences are pouring in from political leaders and well-wishers across Telangana.
Satyanarayana Rao, a native of Kothapalli village in Karimnagar, passed away due to age-related ailments. He had been suffering from health issues for some time. Known for his simplicity and social service, his death has left the village in deep sorrow.

The mortal remains have been kept at Harish Rao's residence in Kokapet for family, relatives, and followers to pay their last respects. The final rites will be performed at Mahaprasthanam on Tuesday afternoon.
KCR expressed deep shock over the demise of his brother-in-law, who was married to his seventh sister, Lakshmi. He spoke to Harish Rao over the phone, recalling his close bond with Satyanarayana Rao, and will visit the family personally to offer condolences.
BRS working president KTR paid his respects to his uncle and cancelled all party programmes and Jubilee Hills by-election activities scheduled for Tuesday. Party cadres and supporters have been visiting the family home since morning to offer their sympathies.
