Director Jyothi Krishna, son of producer A.M. Ratnam and one of the key figures behind the project, recently revealed that the film was originally conceived by director Krish as a lavish period drama centered around the Kohinoor diamond.
But due to the need for more shoot days and extended dates from lead actor Pawan Kalyan, the team chose to break the story into two parts. Significant changes were then made to the first installment to meet deadlines and budget limitations.
According to Jyothi Krishna, Krish had envisioned the film in the grand spirit of a classic like Maya Bazaar. Unfortunately, constant shoot delays and logistical issues prevented that vision from being fully realized. He confirmed that Krish's original storyline will continue in the second part of the saga.
Pawan Kalyan also acknowledged during promotions that Krish only directed about 30-40% of the released film, with the remaining portions being completed by Jyothi Krishna. This revelation explains the tonal and stylistic shifts in the movie that viewers pointed out. As fans now await the second part, there's hope that Krish's original epic vision will finally come to life on screen.
