Hyderabad has emerged as the most-booked city for OYO rooms in 2024, according to the company's annual report, 'Travelopedia 2024', released on December 24.
Following Hyderabad, cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, and Kolkata secured the next top spots for bookings. Uttar Pradesh remains the most popular state for travel, with significant increases in both leisure and business trips. Puri, Varanasi, and Haridwar are the most travelled spiritual destinations.

The report also highlights Patna, Rajahmundry, and Hubli saw impressive growth in OYO bookings, with increases of up to 48%. Popular leisure destinations such as Jaipur, Goa, Pondicherry, and Mysore continued to attract travelers.
However, Mumbai experienced a decline in bookings, with travelers opting for nearby locations instead.

OYO, founded in 2012, is a hospitality chain offering affordable stays across India and other countries.
However, there is growing concern over a disturbing trend among teens staying in OYO rooms. They often engage in risky behaviors like casual sex and adultery. This distracts them from important goals such as studies and career building.
