If They're So Powerful, Heroes Should Go to Wars

Johnny Lever seemingly expressed his criticism towards an overdose of action films in a recent interview. Notably, the popular actor is trending in the headlines for his performance in Kya Masti Kya Dhoom, which aired on Waves OTT.

In his latest conversation, Johnny was questioned about the latest comedy film which he had liked. He replied by saying that there is no such film, adding that if this was true, he would have watched it on the big screen.

Johnny said that directors hardly focus on comedy nowadays and it is all about heroes, who start attacking and everything gets destroyed. He further stated that heroes should be sent to Ukraine and Israel to fight wars if they are so powerful.

It is true that Bollywood has not delivered a good comedy film in the last few years. There was a time when multiple comedies were released in a year and a few of them even became cult classics such as Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag, Dhol, and Chup Chup Ke.
