There has been a huge increase in bomb threats aimed at Indian airlines, leading to a serious meeting by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Key officials, including the Director General of the CISF and BCAS, gathered important information to address the situation. In just one week, there were around 90 reported hoax bomb threats, causing chaos in the aviation industry.
These threats have forced many flights to be grounded or diverted. Major airlines like Air India, Vistara, and SpiceJet were mainly targeted.
The civil aviation minister called this situation very serious and promised to find and punish those responsible.
